I Have been falling behind on blogging. I actually feel as though I had fallen behind on lifting too. Being ill can do that to you. My dad and brother and niece and nephew were also in town last week and that takes priority over lifting. This week has been a mad rush so far too. Business is still good and I am still holding on to the other two jobs as well. Over the past two days some of my equipment has required maintenance and repair. Those kinds of things are left for after hours which means I have yet to lift this week, but Al and I are lifting tomorrow and Thursday. We should be able to make up for the days missed this week.
My wife and I started a co-ed volleyball league on Monday night. Our team won both matches (6 games). I love playing volleyball and our team was really firing on all cylinders Monday night. I hope we can continue to play well and improve over the season. Even my bad right shoulder felt good all night and I'm not that sore today. I think playing volleyball will help me in training for strongman. I may actually incorporate some volleyball motions into my strongman routine. I am still planning on training hard but don't want to hurt the team either. As long as we keep playing as much as we do things should stay in balance
