Fail to plan...

I am sure you are familiar with the quote "Fail to plan and you plan to fail"! This week is a planning week. I am trying to get my ducks in a row for training. I am putting together a regimen for the winter months, and I have talked to a friend of mine about coaching me on some of my lifts so that I can do them with proper form. I know that if I get things together now training will be much more efficient. I am also going to adapt a BFS workout to my training in order to help the planning process.

Planning is not my strong suit. My wife would definitely vouch for that. I am very Big Picture.I see the max-out day, the big lifts, competition day; but planning for all of that is sometimes difficult. In college I was kind of into the planning and scheduling swing of things so planning my workouts was not too difficult. I also had the same training partner for two years and he contributed to the plan. This time it is a little different. Strongman is completely new to me and I am training without a partner for now. There is quite a lot to consider; weight room workout, apparatus specific workout, cardio, and diet. My head has been spinning from all of the information. I am glad that there is so much info though, I can't imagine starting from scratch!
