Getting it right!

This week has involved quite a bit of creativity in my workouts. I am experimenting with various exercises and apparatus so that I can have a plan when January rolls around and it is time to hit the training hard. I want to get it right now so I don't waste any time this winter.

Some might say that now is the time to start hitting it hard. I would agree except that I really need to loose some weight so that I can be more competitive. My wife and I are going on a cruise in January and I am using it as my motivation. the vacation would be much more relaxing and enjoyable if I was able to loose 20-30 lbs. That would also give me a good, healthy foundation for building 20-25 lbs of solid muscle by June.

June is the big goal! That will be my next strongman event unless something comes up this winter and I feel I could compete without it being detrimental to my training. By June I hope to be a solid 230-240lbs. At 235lbs I can compete in a lighter class. If it seems that I am strong enough and am adding good weight I would like to compete at heavyweight. 240lbs may be all I could achieve and that would be light for the heavyweight class. I guess I will see what happens come March and April.

If you are interested at all leave a comment and pray for me!
