Last night Al and I were back in the weight room after a week off. Actually Al lifted some last week which proved to be to his advantage. We had a failure test week this week and Al moved up another 5lbs on the benching chart. I passed the failure test, but not enough to move up, so I am on track. I just missed the fifth rep on the failure test with 250#. I think I will be able to move up in a couple of weeks, at the next test. Al , on the other hand is on track to smash his goal of 225# bench press. If I can move up at the next two failure tests I will be looking at 300# much sooner than I anticipated, and 325# before summer isn't out of the question.
